White Line Road Kill

Nunda, IL. I have never been this close to a skunk before! I thought the lines were cool. And he looked really peaceful, a clean hit. He didn't even smell too awful, either. It must have happened very fast.

Very sad...but interesting as well. I do like the connection between the white stripe of the road and the white stripe on the skunk. Spiritual indeed!

Awww...
Normally, spring and fall are my favorite seasons. But for some reason, they also happen to be prime roadkill seasons.
You're right, there is a strange connection in the stripes.

Wow. Sad to see. Animals have little chance in life and for it to end like this is really tragic.
