White Line Road Kill
Nunda, IL. I have never been this close to a skunk before! I thought the lines were cool. And he looked really peaceful, a clean hit. He didn't even smell too awful, either. It must have happened very fast.
Awww... Normally, spring and fall are my favorite seasons. But for some reason, they also happen to be prime roadkill seasons. You're right, there is a strange connection in the stripes.
I like to take photos of life around me, especially what is interesting or beautiful. I look at life in the Crystal Lake, IL area for the daily photo blog -- but nature and things natural always seem to dominate for some reason. I also like to travel to different parts of the world, though right now I am most content to just be at home! Check my blogs frequently, please comment on any photos! All contents of my blogs are my property. . .

Very sad...but interesting as well. I do like the connection between the white stripe of the road and the white stripe on the skunk. Spiritual indeed!
Nice post :)
Poor guy.
I sure hope he didn't suffer at all.
I've never seen a skunk in real life. Thankfully!

Wow. Sad to see. Animals have little chance in life and for it to end like this is really tragic.
