The bean in winter - Chicago

I am compelled to look at this scultpure -- who wouldn't be -- every time I am in the city.

Stampin' Up!

Made some cards at a friend's house . . . have you ever tried this? It is big around the Chicago suburbs.

Good Old Fashioned Barber, Wauconda, IL

Will Tremonte = Barber. Doesn't this look like a step back in time?

Neighborhood sign

This is a neighborhood very close to mine, right on the Fox River. Everyone calls it Burton's Bridge. Wonder if the sign is right, or the general population.

Healthy Eating!

There is no butter or oil on this dish -- very simple, steamed, just salt and pepper. And delicious.

Here is my contribution to the April 1st Theme Day: Red. This is a great deli, by the way, in nearby Wauconda, IL.

Making R's out of P's

I'm not a big fan of this place although lots of people love it. I don't really like their hamburgers, which is their big item. But I confess I like the frozen custard -- raspberry sundae is the best! I liked the way they tried to make R's out of P's on this sign.

A little bit bigger . . .

I wonder how many of the last post could fit inside this one? How much does anyone really need? These 2 houses are only a few blocks away from each other, in the same town.
