Cherries in the yard . . . to jam in the cupboard!

Delightful sour cherries . . first a pie and now jam! I also made strawberry-rhubarb jam and it is delicious, too. Raspberries are next -- just starting to ripen in our garden.

Frog -- caught!

A simple pleasure from childhood -- catching the ever-illusive frog! Toads are much easier -- not as slippery. Lucky day for my children, this frog was caught . . . and then let go a little while later.
