These are the kind you can eat -- the best taste of summer, right up there with corn on the cob, sweet cherries! See yesterday's post of tart cherries -- see the color difference??

Cherry Tree in the Yard

These are the tart cherries used for pies and jams -- not the sweet ones you can eat right from the tree. I am hoping to have enough for one pie or cheesecake for my husband!

Fruit for a Party

We went to a terrific party this weekend and I brought the fruit plate. They roasted a pig, which was delicious. There was a band and a moonwalk also.

We have had some very unpredictable weather lately . . lots of storms, then sun, then humid, then storms, then cool and clear. I have posted cloud pictures in the past. If I knew how to archive my pictures by type like some of you do. . . I could sort them!
