Single Sunflower

I planted a whole package of sunflower seeds by my garage -- this is the only one that came up this year. But it's a good one, so it's OK.

This picture was taken in front of our old family cabin. I spent so many hours looking at this scene as a child. It was really something to have the sunrise/moonrise right out your front door!

A bit of the rural landscape around here. You should see the corn we have! Really tall, just like Illinois should have. And soybeans. Most of the farms grow one or the other. This one has a dairy farm, so they need hay for the cows. . .
