Let's go back to Chicago for a couple of days. It's nice to have the country life at home and the city close by for culture, etc. Here is the world famous Sears Tower, shining brightly on a clear, sunny day.

Illinois Institute of Technology

This is familiar to you if you've ever driven into Chicago on the Dan Ryan expressway. The Illinois Institute of Technology is located across from Comiskey Park -- oops I mean US Cellular Field -- home of the Chicago White Sox baseball team.

A friend brought this back from Latvia -- we haven't tried it yet, but apparently it is like root beer, tasting more like non-alcoholic beer. Should be interesting.

A truly authentic Nunda farm

This is a neighbor of mine. Note the corn, very famous in Illinois! I pass by this farm everyday. I tried to take a picture of the cows but there is a new calf and the big cows were very intimidating, trying to scare me off, especially the bull.
