Here's the canoe most people use for the river -- many others use tubes and just float.

Here's a group of "tubers" who just made it down the Platte River, MI.

My family takes a picture by this Native American Indian every year. . . he stands guard by a favorite canoeing spot by the Platte River.

Monarch in the Front Garden

Monarch butterflies fly through our area on their annual migration and there are plenty of milkweed plants for the caterpillars to grow on. They have always been my favorite.
